J. Cole Signs With China’s Nanjing Monkey Kings

Hip-hop icon J. Cole isn’t just dropping bars, he’s dropping dimes overseas. The rapper has signed with China’s Nanjing Monkey Kings , blending his love for music with a professional basketball pursuit. “I just want to challenge myself. Basketball has always been a part of my story.”  J. Cole Why It Matters This isn’t Cole’s first professional hoops venture. He’s previously played in the Basketball Africa League and Canada’s Elite Basketball League. At 41, Cole continues to push the boundaries of what a hip-hop artist can achieve, inspiring fans to pursue passions beyond music. Fan & Cultural Reaction Social media is buzzing. Misha Nicole in Bowery

Misha Nicole opened it's doors on May 11, 2011 to stand as a 2,200 square foot concept store in Bowery. The store carried a combination of eastern designers who were mostly from the asian continent. The clothing screamed with an elegant high-fashion flare and the store seemed to be quite popular for it's Trunk Show events. Before closing it's doors, ROQ Magazine shot a spread with model Dariany Santana. The full spread will be released this summer.

Prodigy from Mobb Deep signs "Albert Einstein" EP at Jeffersons boutique

  On July 12, Prodigy of Mobb Deep held an in store signing for his new EP entitled Albert Einstein at Jefferson's urban street wear boutique in Bergenfield, NJ. The new EP, which is produced by The Alchemist, will officially be released on July 17. At the signing he also sold his new book, H.N.I.C, which will be released on the same date as the EP.
